Unfortunately, however, this genocide has not garnered any substantial media attention in the United States, and the international response to this crisis (from NATO, the UN, and the US) has been tepid at best.

STAND and the Genocide Intervention Network have produced a documentary with Participant Media, titled Darfur Now, that highlights the struggle in that region through the eyes of different individuals on the ground in Sudan. From Hollywood Celebrities (Don Cheadle) as well as community leaders and activists.

The Darfur Now College tour is going to colleges across the country offering not only a free screening of the film, but free performances from such acts as Janelle Monae, Goapele, Zion I, Anthony David, Wale, and The Cool Kids.
